Associate Director - Specialist in recruitment in the Finance and CFO space for Banking & FS

We are currently partnering with a leading international bank who have a significant and growing presence in Singapore

They are looking to hire a candidate into their Tax team, with responsibility for providing tax technical advisory and support to group and country stakeholders on client tax information reporting regimes, including FATCA, CRS and US withholding tax

This role will be responsible for supporting the following:

• Ensure awareness and understanding of the Bank’s business strategy in relation to FATCA and CRS
• Enhance stakeholder awareness of reporting regimes
• Support the team lead in maintaining clear and comprehensive Standards for FATCA and CRS compliance.
• Provide clear, timely tax technical advice on FATCA and CRS to support internal stakeholders.
• Assist the Reporting Team with annual reporting obligations, including drafting correspondence with tax authorities.
• Oversee key deliverables to ensure compliance with regulatory deadlines.
• Manage the Residual Risk Assessment process, escalating issues to the Head of Department as needed.
• Monitor tax regulatory changes and collaborate with stakeholders to implement reporting updates.
• Develop and maintain documentation on tax reporting positions for FATCA, CRS, and other relevant regulations.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

• 8+ years of experience in the financial services space
• Subject matter expert on tax reporting regimes including FATCA, CRS and US withholding tax
• Ability to understand operational aspects of implementation of tax requirements
• Tax technical advisory experience
