They are now seeking an experienced Senior Technology & Cyber Risk specialist to join their team in Singapore. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and strengthen the technology risk management landscape across a complex and dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and lead the enterprise-wide technology and cyber risk management framework, ensuring comprehensive identification, assessment, and mitigation of emerging threats
  • Oversee governance and assurance processes related to technology risk, including change management, new technology deployments, and major transformation projects
  • Collaborate closely with first-line technology teams to challenge and support risk assessments, maintaining robust controls and driving continuous improvement
  • Maintain awareness of technological advancements and evolving risks, advising the organisation on appropriate responses and safeguards
  • Establish effective subsidiary technology risk oversight as part of an integrated group-wide framework
  • Develop and maintain technology and cyber risk appetite statements, key risk indicators, and thresholds to support proactive risk monitoring
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices across jurisdictions, including technology and cyber risk frameworks
  • Partner with technology control functions to design, enforce, and update guidelines, policies, and standard operating procedures
  • Provide timely and transparent reporting to executive management, risk committees, auditors, and regulators on key risk themes, incidents, and remediation progress
  • Drive continuous improvement through stress-testing scenarios, alert monitoring, and incident follow-ups to ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing technology and cyber risk team, embedding a strong risk culture across the organization

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Risk Management, or a related discipline
  • Proven track record in technology risk management, cybersecurity, IT audit, or related fields within financial services
  • In-depth understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity frameworks, technology operations, and related regulatory requirements
  • Familiarity with guidelines such as the Technology Risk Management Guidelines, CCoP2, Business Continuity Management, and Outsourcing frameworks
  • Experience with risk management frameworks and standards including NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT, and ITIL
  • Strong relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and advisory skills to influence a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior executives and board members
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities in building and managing high-performing teams
  • Resilience and composure in high-pressure, fast-paced environments, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
