VP Supply Chain Operations, APAC

Position Overview

Based in Singapore (hybrid model), reporting to the Chief Supply Chain Officer, the incumbent will lead supply chain operations across multiple sites and countries in the APAC region. Responsibilities include manufacturing, engineering, planning, logistics, supply chain performance/safety, health, and environmental (PLP/SHE), continuous improvement (CI), project management, and performance control. As a key member of the Global Supply Chain leadership team, the individual will collaborate with regional and functional leaders to ensure operational excellence and support enterprise goals. The role also focuses on cultural and leadership development, talent management, diversity, and inclusion. Success metrics include safety, productivity, quality, customer service, workforce health, cash, and total cost of operations.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Lead and coordinate end-to-end Supply Chain operations, focusing on strategy alignment, resource deployment, execution (KPI tracking and actions), and commercial partnership (Growth, Cost, Cash). Participate in the Regional Cross-Functional Leadership team.
  2. Foster a #wedeliver culture, model McCormick growth behaviors, and drive organizational development, talent succession, and D&I initiatives. Contribute to creating a Great Place to Work environment. Focus on developing future leaders and building partnerships across all Supply Chain functions and key stakeholders (HR, Quality, R&D, Procurement, Finance).
  3. Oversee KPI review processes for the region, reporting to the Global Supply Chain Leadership Team and Chief Supply Chain Officer.
  4. Develop long-term capital plans aligned with business goals, including innovation, capacity, cost savings, and risk management.
  5. Execute transformation programs within the strategic planning period, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards.
  6. Contribute to global Supply Chain strategy and define regional strategies based on business and customer priorities.
  7. Ensure integration of Supply Chain sustainability commitments into operational agendas.
  8. Support IBP process development, global enablement activities, and IT transformation programs.
  9. Promote global talent development, mentoring, coaching, and talent transfer for growth.
  10. Build strong partnerships with joint ventures, supporting M&A activities and supply chain interdependencies.
  11. Travel approximately 25-40% across the region or globally as required.
Candidate Profile
  1. BSc in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  2. Leadership experience in manufacturing or supply chain environments.
  3. Knowledge of APAC markets.
  4. Proven leadership and analytical skills.
  5. Experience in driving growth through capacity planning, network design, operational efficiency, and cost reduction.
  6. Ability to build partnerships with joint ventures and influence across functions and leadership levels.
  7. Strong communication skills, with fluency in English; Mandarin is an advantage.
  8. Ability to build effective teams, succession plans, systems, and processes.
