This role is regulated by MAS (Monetary Authority of Singapore).

Purpose of the role

To review draft research content to ensure that it meets the Barclays Research departments editorial standards, as well as all applicable regulatory requirements, prior to its distribution to Clients.

Accountabilities

  • Review of submitted Research in line with Barclays standards; work with the authoring Analyst collaboratively to edit and amend reports to a satisfactory outcome.
  • Identification of conflicts of interest and potential reputational or regulatory issues within Research reports; ensure these are highlighted and managed in partnership with the Compliance Control room and other relevant functions.
  • Provision of training and guidance to Research Analysts on relevant systems, best practices and procedures for producing Research, resolving issues with the help of control partners and Research management.
