This is a strategic role to develop and manage relationships with top-tier Japanese and Korean corporate banking customers and to generate mutually beneficial business opportunities for both customers and the Bank.
Job Responsibilities
- Formulate concrete plans for achieving higher performance, and oversee their administration and management.
- Develop specific measures for efficient use of group resources, and oversee their implementation and furtherance.
- Manage the moneylending business and increase deposits.
- Facilitate domestic exchange transactions, foreign exchange transactions, and other related tasks.
- Exercise profit management strictly, and work to assure and increase profits.
- Maintain good relationships with customers and other business connections, and establish foundations for higher performance.
- Establish and promote a bank-wide cooperation business framework.
- Administer, manage, and improve overall administrative affairs in the office.
- Develop better relationships within the office, stimulate morale.
- Develop and implement training and education plans for subordinates, and supervise their performance.
Requirements
- Graduate degree from university.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Minimum 10 years of Banking & Finance experience.
- Experience leading and managing a small team.
- Experience in Corporate Banking.
- Ability to optimize profits and resources effectively.
- Proficiency in Japanese is advantageous, as the role involves presenting to Japanese corporate clients, preparing reports in Japanese, and reading Japanese financial statements.
- Demonstrate strategic and creative thinking.
- Strong understanding of inherent risks involved in achieving goals.
