Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC in Singapore is seeking a Vice President to lead the QR eTrading team, designing and implementing the algorithmic trading platform and integrating quantitative research with client solutions. You will optimize trade scheduling for single stocks and portfolios within the algo engine, guiding platform direction with researchers and product/tech teams.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in algorithmic execution strategies or trading platforms.
• Knowledge of cash equity markets, microstructure and market impact.
• Quantitative research experience in electronic trading or related fields.
• Advanced knowledge of mathematics and statistics (probability theory, time series, econometrics, causal inference).
• Exceptional analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills for high-dimensional problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with kdb+/q.
• Coding experience in Java or C++.

Responsibilities

• Lead the QR eTrading team locally to drive algo execution product research and development.
• Partner with product teams and trading desks to design client-centric solutions.
• Collaborate with researchers and trading desks to refine models and strategies to enhance algorithm performance.
• Build robust algorithms on the execution platform with technology partners to deliver optimal solutions.
• Explain model behavior, run scenario analyses, and develop quantitative tools and data analytics.
• Validate production implementations to ensure fidelity with research specifications.
