Role: Director of Product Data Science

Location: Bangalore

We seek a seasoned leader to bridge business objectives, product thinking, and deep data science capabilities. You will lead high-priority projects across domains, ensuring scalable ML adoption and collaboration with stakeholders including Data Science, Product, Business, Compliance, and CXO teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and lead data science solutions for business challenges such as User Quality Scoring, Customer Lifetime Value prediction, Churn Prediction, Personalized Recommendations, Cross-sell/Upsell engines, Loan Risk models, and Trading Behavior prediction.
• Partner with CXOs, product teams, and business owners to define and execute the product data science roadmap.
• Collaborate with Compliance and Security to ensure ethical AI, data privacy, and model explainability.
• Lead and mentor data science teams, define success metrics, and streamline model development processes.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in data science, product analytics, and business strategy, with leadership roles.
• Expertise in ML, deep learning, Gen AI/LLM, personalization, recommendation systems, risk modeling, and marketing analytics.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, experience engaging with CXOs and legal/compliance teams.
• Background in fintech or digital consumer sectors preferred.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering; MBA is a plus.
