Job summary

Citi is seeking a Senior Scheduler to oversee physical trading opportunities across commodities and coordinate with the trading floor and support functions. The role manages physical positions, movements, and cost optimization through market condition assessments.

You will collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, and Finance to uphold governance and control infrastructure, while ensuring proper risk management and adherence to policy.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a related role with logistical/physical base metals and vaulting in precious metals would be a great plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities/deadlines with accuracy.
• Effective and efficient quantitative skills and advanced problem solving skills.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• Proven ability to thrive in a high stress, fast paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks requiring immediate attention over others.

Responsibilities

• Support the Commodities business and oversee various commodities and identify potential physical trading opportunities at the trading desk.
• Coordinate with stakeholders on the trading floor including legal, back office, and product control.
• Manage physical positions and movements; optimize flows to save costs by assessing market conditions.
• Resolve issues during the nomination cycle using internal and external relationships; submit monthly nominations.
• Input and extract trading information to ensure accuracy and resolve problems.
• Coordinate on new products, structure transactions, and ensure regulatory compliance.
