Job description

Role Title: VP Marketing Asia

Line Manager: SVP Marketing & Head of MENA & Asia

Department: Commercial

The VP Marketing Asia has the responsibility for revenue generation in the designated geographical territory, identifying potential clients and relationships and implementing the revenue, leasing, and sales strategies that are appropriate to lead to profitable transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and execute AviLease’s commercial strategy in the assigned geographical area, ensuring achievement of targets, objectives for revenue, accounting for volume and financial targets.
  • Identify market opportunities and lead the efforts in transforming market opportunities into transactions.
  • Establish and maintain commercial relationships with the airlines and aviation industry in the assigned geographical area.
  • Lead new aircraft placement, existing fleet remarketing and origination of Sale & Leaseback opportunities in the assigned geographical area.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships in the assigned geographical region through face-to-face airline coverage, customer events and ongoing communication with airline counterparts. Nurture multi-level relationships at airlines and facilitating ExCo relationship development. The role will require extensive travel across the region.
  • Prepare and negotiate Letters of Intent (LOI) with customers and review lease agreements prepared by the Legal team for alignment to executed LOI.
  • Develop commercial proposals and documents for the lease of aircraft, while maintaining commercial awareness of the opportunities pursued, identifying the risks and ensuring that contracts are commercially viable to pursue, secure, and implement.
  • Monitor regional competitors’ offerings and pricings for similar aircrafts and adopt corrective actions as necessary in concert with the Regional Head and Head of Pricing.
  • Identify and respond to RFPs as per client requirements, aligning client and market expectations to AviLease offerings and capabilities.
  • Ensure positive brand awareness and image in the region.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6+ years experience in Airline/Aircraft Leasing industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or Aerospace Engineering | Master’s degree is preferred.
