Job summary

Societe Generale IT Global Transaction Banking team in Hong Kong seeks a backend engineer to design, develop and maintain Java microservices (Spring Boot) and build robust REST APIs integrated with messaging systems.

You will push architecture improvements, automate CI/CD with Jenkins and PyInfra, and deploy using Docker and Kubernetes while ensuring data integrity in PostgreSQL. Strong English and collaborative mindset are required.

Qualifications

• Strong Java with Spring Boot experience and REST API expertise.
• Unix/Linux proficiency, expert Git usage, and container orchestration.
• Experience with messaging systems (ActiveMQ/RabbitMQ/Kafka) and PostgreSQL.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions with delivery focus.
• Fluent English communication; capable of working autonomously and in a team.
