Job summary

BNY is seeking a high-calibre professional for its Fund & Investor Solutions - Fund Accounting (NAV Validation) team in Singapore. The role leads NAV production, validation, and financial statement output, while driving improvements in controls, automation, and client service.

You will manage end-to-end production, data validation, and incident resolution, partnering with global teams and fund managers to meet regulatory and client mandates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline; a postgraduate Finance qualification is advantageous.
• Strong fund accounting experience covering NAV production and validation, reconciliations, financial reporting, controls, audits, and issue resolution.
• Professional spoken and written Portuguese is essential for using accounting systems and communicating with fund managers and distributors.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team delivering accurate and timely daily, weekly, and monthly NAVs, accounting outputs, and financial statements.
• Oversee the end-to-end production cycle, including data validation, reconciliations, and evidence retention.
• Partner with Global teams, fund managers, vendors, distributors, and internal service functions to resolve exceptions and complex client requirements.
• Maintain controls and compliance with client mandates, regulatory requirements, BNY policies, audit standards, and business continuity expectations.
• Own incidents and escalations through resolution, including impact assessment, stakeholder communication, root-cause analysis, and remediation.
• Monitor KPIs, quality, risk, capacity, recurring errors, and deadlines; elevate concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Manage staffing, workload, leave coverage, training, onboarding, fund launches, migrations, and operational readiness.
• Coach and develop the team through objectives, feedback, performance management, succession planning, and inclusive culture.
• Deliver system, control, automation, and AI-enabled improvements that strengthen accuracy, resilience, scalability, and efficiency.
