Job description

An exciting role created to lead and transform the global finance function with a high growth consumer business.

Client Details

We are a global company in the Tech and Entertainment space and have global presence across APAC and US markets. We are now embarking on the next phase of growth and have identified Singapore as the international headquarter to drive the expansion plans. As part of its critical expansion roadmap, we are now looking for a newly created VP Finance role based in Singapore.

Description

This role will head up the international & emerging markets Finance function, leading a team across accounting, FP&A, tax with focus on commercial finance support. You are a key business partner in building the FP&A capabilities and identify opportunities to drive growth alongside commercial and operations stakeholders. You will provide visibility on financial and influence decision making. You will oversee managers who leads the accounting team and reporting functions to the group. This individual will be actively involved in process enhancement projects to implement lean Accounting methodologies and overall efficiencies of the finance processes. The incumbent will be the key person for all internal and external audit reviews and be responsible for internal controls relating to all areas of business.

Profile

The ideal candidate should possess a Master/Degree in Finance & Accounting from a prestige institution. Prior experience starting out in Big 4 / accounting roles will be a plus. A finance leader with proven track record in partnering commercial teams and leading cross regional finance teams to drive growth and expansion. You are a strong communicator, effectively bilingual to work with key stakeholders in China and rest of SEA is a must. Ability to challenge status quo and work in ambiguous environment highly desired.
