Job Responsibilities

In this role within the Real Estate Asset and Structured Finance Team, you will:

• Manage end-to-end deal execution, including origination, structuring, credit approval, and portfolio management of fund finance facilities for private equity funds in Asia Pacific.
• Conduct analysis, structuring, and due diligence on transactions of varying complexity.
• Oversee portfolio management of existing fund finance facilities, perform periodic customer reviews, and handle ad-hoc client requests, refinancing, and extensions.
• Maintain and develop client relationships, contribute to cross-selling activities, and build a network of internal and external contacts across private equity funds.
• Develop and present credit recommendations, liaise with legal counsel on documentation, and prepare reports for senior management, including metrics and budgeting.
• Enhance Mizuho's ESG brand in the region related to RASF.

Job Requirements

• 5-10 years of relevant experience in banking, fund finance, or private equity funds preferred.
• Strong skills in credit analysis, structuring, and transaction execution.
• Experience with Fund Finance products such as subscription facilities, GP facilities, hybrid, and NAVs.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented team player with strong learning capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous fund finance experience is preferred; CFA qualification is a plus.
