Data empowers our everyday operations, and through strategic focus on automation, service management, quality & control checks, and customer/employee experience, we aim to enable an AI-Fuelled Operation function.

About the Role
Make your mark by helping us enable operations to create meaningful experiences for our employees and customers by embedding data and analytics throughout operations. As a Data Translator, you will lead and partner strategically with Ops in this journey. Your focus will be on ensuring sustainable innovation and creating economic impact within Ops, requiring key partnerships across business, technology, transformation, and data chapter teams.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic delivery & Thought Leadership:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders within Operations to understand business opportunities, identify data insights, and develop analytics products and recommendations.
• Drive scalable data and advanced analytical solutions with measurable economic impact.
• Translate business problems into analytics requirements, including AIML and GenAI initiatives.
• Conduct data profiling, analysis, and metadata-driven ingestion of structured and unstructured data, adhering to data governance standards.
• Evaluate new industry techniques and technologies to address business challenges and improve internal processes.
• As a squad lead, coordinate tasks, meet deadlines, support team members, and liaise with management.
• Manage a portfolio of initiatives considering priority, impact, and risk.
• Oversee measurement, development, and execution of initiatives and workstreams.
• Document data processes, standards, and best practices for the BI team.
• Promote a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement to achieve target outcomes.

• Strong Collaboration & Operational Excellence:

• Work with senior management to develop analytical strategies, present analyses, and recommend improvements using data storytelling.
• Foster collaboration between Business, Technology, and Data teams for integrated analytics solutions.
• Understand Voice of the Customer (VOC), address business challenges, and challenge the status quo to inform strategy.
• Lead reporting and updates to executive forums and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher with at least 10 years of experience in data analytics and business intelligence.
• Strong senior stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of banking technology infrastructure is preferred.
• Proven success in leading data-driven initiatives with significant business outcomes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively to non-technical audiences.
• Self-motivated, adaptable to ambiguity, and proactive.
• Collaborative with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in translating business needs into analytical requirements and problem-solving through iteration.
• Knowledge of data analytics techniques like predictive, prescriptive, ML, and AI.
• Passion for technology, analytics, and industry trends.
• Familiarity with statistical languages (R, Python, SQL) for data manipulation and insights.
