Job summary

Michael Page International partners with a leading international bank to appoint a senior regional credit professional in Singapore. You will lead credit analysis across a diversified Southeast Asia corporate portfolio, working with risk, relationship and product teams to support prudent portfolio growth.

The Successful Applicant will have 10+ years of corporate credit experience in banking, with strong credit writing, financial statement analysis and modelling skills, and exposure to large SEA

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of corporate credit experience in corporate or wholesale banking.
• Hands-on credit writing, financial statement analysis, modelling and annual reviews.
• Experience with large corporate clients across Southeast Asia and understanding of lending/portfolio risk.
• Exposure to Food & Agriculture or commodities is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Prepare credit applications and annual reviews for large corporate clients.
• Conduct detailed credit analysis including financial spreading and cash flow projections.
• Monitor portfolio credit quality through covenant testing and watchlist triggers.
• Collaborate with Credit Risk and approval stakeholders to address queries.

Job Description

• Prepare credit applications and annual reviews for large corporate clients, including facility increases, amendments, waivers and covenant-related requests.
• Conduct detailed credit analysis including financial spreading, cash flow analysis, projections, internal ratings and loan classification.
• Monitor portfolio credit quality through covenant testing, approval conditions, early-warning indicators and watchlist triggers.
• Work closely with Credit Risk and relevant approval stakeholders to address credit queries and support the approval process.
• Review credit documentation against approved terms and maintain accurate credit-related data, limits and collateral information.

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 10 years of relevant corporate credit experience within a corporate or wholesale banking environment.
• Strong hands-on experience in credit writing, financial statement analysis, financial modelling and annual credit reviews.
• Experience covering large corporate clients across Southeast Asia, with a strong understanding of corporate lending and portfolio credit risk.
• Exposure to Food & Agriculture, commodities or related corporate sectors will be highly regarded.
