Job description

This role manages daily finance operations, drives cost management, and oversees intercompany billing, with a heavy focus on driving change through partnership with both internal and external stakeholders.

This role will be responsible for supporting the following:

  • Lead all aspects of finance operations, including accounts payable/receivable, GST compliance and reporting, and cash settlement/disbursement.
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to Senior Management and Shareholders.
  • Drive finance-related projects and initiatives, including the migration to a new expenses system
  • Act as the Group's subject matter expert on cost management
  • Oversee multi-year cost budgeting and forecasting.
  • Design and implement effective cost control and monitoring strategies.
  • Streamline cost reporting processes and enhance dashboard reporting capabilities.
  • Partner with business units to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency.
  • Lead financial analysis to inform pricing, operations, and strategic investments.
  • Manage intercompany billing and recharge processes in compliance with transfer pricing regulations.
  • Lead and mentor both on-shore and off-shore staff

To be eligible for this role you will require
  • Degree in Accountancy and Chartered Accountant (or equivalent professional qualification)
  • Over 10 years of experience in financial reporting, including knowledge of IFRS/SFRS and GST regulations
  • Experience working in the financial services industry and understanding of financial products
  • Demonstrable experience in strategic cost management, budgeting, and forecasting
