Why Join

We are looking for a driven and collaborative individual to join OCBC Corporate Treasury, a strategic management unit within the Group CFO Office. Corporate Treasury optimises the Bank’s balance sheet, allocates liquidity across the Group, and supports sustainable growth while safeguarding financial resilience through economic cycles.

How it works

This role is well suited to an individual who enjoys connecting macro themes, financial markets and balance sheet dynamics; can turn analysis into practical recommendations; and is comfortable engaging stakeholders across functions in a fast-paced, strategic environment. In this role, you will assess how external macroeconomic and financial market developments affect the Bank’s balance sheet and translate data-driven analysis into actionable strategies. You will work closely with stakeholders across the Bank, including senior management, and contribute to cross-functional initiatives that support balance sheet profitability, liquidity resilience and disciplined execution of Group-level treasury strategies.

What you do

Evaluate the impact of macroeconomic and financial market developments on the Bank’s balance sheet.

  • Develop and recommend interest rate, liquidity and structural FX strategies for deliberation by Group ALCO.
  • Maintain oversight of Corporate Treasury policies, procedures and processes to support effective implementation of balance sheet strategies across the Group.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on the Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) framework, policies and methodologies, including implementation support for business units.
  • Ensure FTP policies and methodologies are clearly communicated, consistently disseminated and effectively adopted across the Group.
  • Use data analytics to generate insights, identify opportunities and unlock value within the Bank’s balance sheet.
  • Prepare high-quality analytical materials and presentations for key stakeholders, including Group ALCO and senior management.
  • Participate in new initiatives and cross-functional projects that strengthen Corporate Treasury’s strategic capabilities and execution discipline.
Who you are

Strong interest in strategic balance sheet management, financial markets and bank-wide strategy. Good financial literacy, with the ability to analyse information, identify key trends and articulate implications clearly. Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with sound attention to detail and a practical approach to problem-solving. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear analysis and engage multi-functional stakeholders effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with SQL, Python or similar tools is advantageous. Good degree in business, finance, economics, quantitative disciplines or other relevant fields. 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in banking, treasury, asset-liability management, finance, risk management, markets or a related financial services role. Collaborative team player with strong ethics, intellectual curiosity and the ability to think strategically across disciplines.

What we offer
  • Competitive base salary.
  • A suite of holistic, flexible benefits to suit every lifestyle.
  • Community initiatives.
  • Industry-leading learning and professional development opportunities.
  • Your wellbeing, growth and aspirations are every bit as cared for as the needs of our customers.

Let’s build the bank we need for the future we want. Find the best version of yourself in a friendly, supportive team. Build lasting value in your community. Help people grow their assets, business, and investments. Take your learning as far as you can. Or simply enjoy a vibrant, future-ready career. Your Opportunity Starts Here.
