Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver corporate access events—roadshows, conferences, roundtables, site visits, and virtual meetings across sectors; including coordination of logistics, itineraries and venues.
  • Firming up all specifics/restrictions with internal/external clients for all of the upcoming meetings.
  • Launching the event and updating the internal systems.
  • Building out the schedule (managing situations for high and low demand schedules).
  • Working through logistics involved virtually or in person days.
  • Liaise with C-level clients to facilitate project delivery.
  • Work with team in NY and Toronto to originate APAC roadshows for North American companies.
  • Create APAC site visits for global clients.
  • Prepare, coordinate and host all business communications and events (written, in-person and virtual).
  • Support the preparation and presentation of materials for internal and external use.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, manage sensitive information, and support documentation retention and record keeping.
  • Coordinate and manage multiple engagements and roadshow schedules simultaneously.
  • Support and collaborate with Front Office colleagues to deliver exceptional service and respond flexibly to urgent business needs.
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts within the space that includes executives, analysts as well as buy‑side counterparts.
  • Multi‑task within a fast‑paced and dynamic environment while focusing on details.
  • Independently problem solve while demonstrating leadership with communication across all stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience in event management, client service, or investor relations within financial services.
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and multitasking skills; able to work under tight deadlines and organize and prioritize large volumes of information and communication.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and Outlook skills; CRM proficiency.
  • Discretion with confidential information; proactive, team‑oriented, and flexible with work hours.
  • Must be detail oriented and possess problem‑solving skills.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and establish priorities.
  • Proficient in interpersonal communication (both oral and written), and have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management.
  • Strict adherence personally and at a desk level to the firm’s procedures.
  • Understands and complies with TD Policies, regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrates governance, control and risk management behaviors in alignment with TD policies and practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or related field; strong understanding of the financial markets.
  • Min 7 years in a corporate access, investor relations or related positions in the financial services industry.
  • Strong planning, organization, and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and market research.
  • Proactive and self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail and multi‑tasking capability.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), Zoom and MS Teams.
  • Quick learner for Corporate Access specific technology that houses all events ex: iPreo/iPlanner/MeetMax (or similar planning platforms preferred).
  • Comfortable working with people at all organizational levels, as well as a high‑pressure environment.
  • Ability to understand business strategies and partner across divisions.
  • Strong team player with a willingness to pivot across multiple projects and teams, adaptable with a can‑do attitude.
