Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) is seeking an experienced functional business analyst lead to drive KYC/AML workflows and enterprise capabilities. You will map delivery roadmaps, collaborate with project managers, local and regional stakeholders, and ensure security and regulatory considerations are embedded in solutions.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant banking experience.
• Deep AML/KYC, sanctions, and fraud knowledge in banking, insurance, or asset management.
• Knowledge of global regulatory environment and regulators' expectations.
• Change management and project management fundamentals.
• Experience in scoping and evaluation including scalability, maintainability, cost, operations and principal risk.
• Actimize, Detica and Quantexa experience is highly preferred.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving and process design skills.
• Understanding of technology and operational processes across bank functions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business strategy into concrete actionable plans.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and influence across teams.
• Commitment to learning and development within teams.

Responsibilities

• Build strategic relationships with stakeholders to align technology with business needs.
• Lead KYC/AML workflow delivery and enterprise capabilities.
• Define delivery roadmap with project managers, business analysts, and architects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Group Singapore and Regional teams to elicit requirements.
• Lead analysis and documentation of to-be business processes and functional requirements.
• Support funding requests and monitor risks related to requirements and scope.
• Develop deployment plans and ensure security requirements are addressed.
• Oversee testing strategy and manage escalated test findings.
• Lead and coach a team of functional business analysts.
• Foster learning and development within the team.
