A leading bank in Singapore seeks a VP for Business Management, Product Control, and Risk Management within the Global Transaction Services. This pivotal role involves overseeing financial performance, managing risks, and supporting strategic initiatives. Responsibilities
Responsible for Business Analytics and Management by supporting Head of Business Management in preparation for regular business meetings including strategic thematic reports and business reviews for CEO, Group head of Institutional Banking Group, Group Head of Global Transaction Services.
Govern regional strategic initiatives development and program management in relation to Securities Services
Support Regional Head of Securities Services in and maintaining SS financial / budget reporting for the group.
Drive implementation of strategic business goals
Perform monthly tracking of financial performance, provide highlights, driver analysis, identify risks and opportunities.
Create and maintain SFS’ performance scorecard reporting
Maintain governance frameworks in relation to sales deal discussions forums and deal review committee forums
Oversee risk for products and to provide a risk and control lens for any client or operations escalations.
To work with internal audit on any points raised by audit.
Oversee SFS’ screening framework
Point of contact for sales and client managers for any client related asks/issues that impacts risks and controls
To coordinate award pitches for Securities and Fiduciary Services
Requirements
Bachelors Degree or equivalent qualifications.
7 years and above of business planning/management, risks and control management and banking (preferably Institutional banking and Global Transaction Services)
Strong business acumen.
Good knowledge in financial performance management, data-analytics skills, project / program management.
Effective presentation skills
Good organizational management skills and systematic.
Ability to work independently, self-motivated, adaptable, disciplined, and focused.
Good communication skills, good teamwork and inter-relationship skills, good stakeholder management.
Open-minded, able to think out of the box, able to address problems in effective and efficient way, with strong problem-solving skills.
