Argyll Scott is partnering with an international financial institution to recruit a VP, Business Finance, MI & Planning for its Singapore Finance team. This newly created role will strengthen performance management, strategic planning and management reporting during a period of transformation and integration.

Competenze

• Experience in FP&A, management reporting or financial planning & analysis.
• Strong P&L analysis, budgeting, forecasting and financial performance management.
• Excellent analytical capabilities with ability to translate complex financial information into clear business recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills with senior leadership.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI or other data visualisation tools would be advantageous.

Mansioni

• Consolidate entity-wide P&L, financial performance and key business metrics.
• Analyse financial and non-financial performance drivers, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
• Prepare management reports, executive presentations and financial commentary.
• Partner with Finance Operations, COO, HR and business leaders to support performance management and commercial decisions.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting cycles; drive budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial planning.
• Prepare financial submissions and business review materials for regional and group stakeholders.

The Opportunity

We are partnering with an established international financial institution to recruit an experienced VP, Business Finance, MI & Planning professional to join its Singapore Finance team.

This newly created position offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in strengthening financial performance management, strategic planning and management reporting during a period of business transformation and integration.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders across local, regional and group functions, translating complex financial data into meaningful business insights to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis, Management Reporting & Business Partnering

• Consolidate entity-wide P&L, financial performance and key business metrics.

• Analyse financial and non-financial performance drivers, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.

• Prepare insightful management reports, executive presentations and financial commentary.

• Partner with Finance Operations, COO, HR and business leaders to support performance management and commercial decisions.

Financial Planning, Forecasting & Group Reporting

• Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting cycles.

• Drive budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial planning activities.

• Prepare financial submissions and business review materials for regional and group stakeholders.

• Provide forward-looking analysis and recommendations to support business objectives.

Reporting Enhancement & Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to enhance management information (MI), reporting accuracy and efficiency.

• Support reporting automation, process improvements and finance transformation initiatives.

• Collaborate with offshore teams and cross-functional stakeholders to improve reporting deliverables.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in FP&A, Business Finance, Management Reporting or Financial Planning & Analysis.

• Strong hands-on experience in P&L analysis, budgeting, forecasting and financial performance management.

• Excellent analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear business recommendations.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills, including engagement with senior leadership.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI or other data visualisation tools would be advantageous.

• A degree in Finance, Accountancy or a related discipline.

• Experience within banking, insurance or financial services is advantageous, although candidates from Big Four and other commercial industries are welcome.

• A proactive, commercially minded professional who thrives in a dynamic and evolving environment.
