Role Summary:

The Financial Planning & Analysis role for Singapore leads financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance management across the commercial, residential, and aftermarket HVAC businesses. Acting as a trusted finance partner, this position works closely with country business and sales leaders, regional finance teams, and functional stakeholders to deliver timely insights, shape strategic and operational decisions, and drive accountability for financial commitments. The role provides rigorous analysis of business performance, profitability, cash flow, and working capital while strengthening planning disciplines and advancing standardization, automation, and continuous improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Singapore financial planning and reporting cadence, including weekly performance updates, monthly forecasts, quarterly business reviews, the annual operating plan, and long-range planning.

  • Consolidate and analyze results across sales, orders, backlog, profitability, cash flow, working capital, and functional costs, identifying key drivers and emerging trends.

  • Develop executive‑ready financial reviews, performance narratives, and decision‑support materials that translate complex data into clear insights and recommended actions.

  • Partner with country sales leaders, business stakeholders, and regional finance teams to challenge assumptions, assess risks and opportunities, and define actions required to achieve financial targets.

  • Coordinate with regional FP&A teams to deliver accurate, timely, and high‑quality planning, forecasting, and reporting outputs.

  • Manage Singapore budgets and forecasts, including actuals tracking, variance analysis, cost governance, and follow‑through on corrective actions.

  • Oversee HFM consolidation activities, including data validation, out‑of‑balance resolution, reconciliation, and period‑lock procedures.

  • Drive reporting standardization, process simplification, and automation to improve accuracy, speed, transparency, and scalability across the lines of business.

  • Deliver ad hoc financial analysis, business cases, scenario modelling, and other decision support for business and finance leadership.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline; CPA, ACCA, CFA, or an equivalent professional qualification is preferred.

  • Five to eight years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, commercial finance, controllership, or a related finance discipline, ideally within a multinational or regional matrix organization.

  • Demonstrated expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, variance and sensitivity analysis, and business performance management.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with a strong track record of producing accurate analysis and concise, executive‑level presentations.

  • Hands‑on experience with enterprise financial systems such as HFM and SAP; experience with dashboarding, automation, or business intelligence tools is an advantage.

  • Proven ability to prioritize competing demands, maintain accuracy under tight deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.

  • Analytical judgement: Interprets complex financial and operational data, identifies material drivers, and converts insights into practical recommendations.

  • Ownership and execution: Demonstrates accountability, attention to detail, sound judgement, and consistent follow‑through on commitments.

  • Business partnership: Builds credibility, constructively challenges assumptions, and influences decisions across country, regional, and functional teams.

  • Communication: Presents financial messages clearly and concisely, tailoring the level of detail to senior leaders and non‑finance stakeholders.

  • Continuous improvement: Applies a problem‑solving mindset to simplify processes, strengthen controls, and accelerate automation and standardization.
