VP/AVP, Specialist, Business Finance, Corporate Banking, Group Finance

Business Function
Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions - whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services.

Responsibilities

• Close partnership with Institutional Banking Group (IBG) segments to analyse business drivers and performance, highlight gaps and opportunities
• MIS reporting, including budgeting, forward-looking forecasting, close partnership with GFPA to support management reviews and disclosure
• Develop and monitor performance metrics and ensure effective business MIS performance assessment
• Identify risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outline business impact
• Support business initiatives and engage in Business Finance transformation projects; implement and test of automation solutions
• Provide strong oversight and analysis on business costs and identifying business savings
• Ensure data integrity, accurate financial period close and relevant controls are met
• Provide strong oversight of various financial controls, measurements and systems, including account ownership and timely completion of risk and controls checks.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance / Accounting
• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
• Strong Excel skills and numeric savvy is a must
• Prior IBG or BUC experience is a plus
• Knowledge in data analytical systems (ie Qlikview, Tableau etc) is a plus
• Strong analytical and communication skills are must-have traits
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good time management
• Analytical/problem solving abilities
