VP APAC Communications, Singapore

MCG Talent has been exclusively briefed on a confidential VP of Communications role - APAC for a leading tech-enabled brand in Singapore.

This leadership role is responsible for strengthening brand reputation, enhancing stakeholder engagement, and aligning communications strategies with business objectives across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive corporate communications strategies across Asia Pacific and global markets.
  2. Heading crisis communications in the region.
  3. Oversee all aspects of corporate messaging, media relations, executive communications, and thought leadership.
  4. Act as a strategic advisor to senior management on communication matters, brand positioning, integrated communications/digital initiatives, and reputational risks.
  5. Lead crisis communications planning and execution.
  6. Cultivate and manage relationships with key media, industry stakeholders, and communications partners.
  7. Supervise regional communications teams and collaborate with cross-functional departments globally.
  8. Ensure consistency of messaging across all channels and geographies.
  9. Monitor communications effectiveness through metrics and reporting.

Requirements

  1. Minimum of 18 years of communications experience, preferably in in-house roles within multinational organizations.
  2. Strong background in both regional (Asia Pacific) and global communications strategies.
  3. Proven ability to lead integrated communications campaigns across diverse markets.
  4. Demonstrated experience managing teams and working closely with executive leadership.
  5. Solid understanding of media landscape, stakeholder engagement, and corporate reputation management.
  6. Currently based in Singapore.
