Job summary

ExxonMobil in Singapore seeks a Cargo Scheduler / Voyage Optimizer to manage safe, compliant cargo movements and optimize voyages across a global fleet. The role interfaces with Global Trading, terminals, customers, and shipping counterparts to enhance value and reduce risks.

Responsibilities cover scheduling, vessel nominations, and commercial optimization, with emphasis on timely execution, cost efficiency, and cross-functional coordination across a global operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in marine logistics, cargo scheduling, vessel operations, chartering, trading operations, or hydrocarbon transportation.
• Experience in a fast-paced global operations environment with multiple priorities and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cargo scheduling and voyage execution comply with policies and regulations.
• Coordinate vessel nominations, cargo movements, terminal operations, and voyage execution to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Maximize value through voyage optimization, including vessel repositioning and bunker strategies.
• Oversee a global portfolio of marine transportation assets under COAs, time charters, and spot charters.
• Collaborate with voyage optimizers, traders, chartering teams, and customers to maintain seamless operations.
• Monitor voyage economics and support the resolution of commercial and operational claims.
