Job description

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to build a sustainable network of volunteers in support of population health initiatives.

• Establish and maintain partnerships with community organisations to grow and engage the volunteer base for health promotion activities.

• Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and deployment of volunteers, ensuring alignment with appropriate activities based on skills and interests.

• Develop, review, and deliver training materials to equip volunteers with the necessary knowledge and skills.

• Design and launch new volunteer programmes that contribute to health promotion and community care efforts.

• Undertake any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

• At least 6 years of relevant experience in volunteer management, preferably within the healthcare or social service sector.

• Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities.

• Excellent planning, project management, and organisational skills.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to foster engagement and alignment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Experience in strategic planning or programme development is an added advantage.
