Job description

Reporting to the Director, Client Services, the Executive for Volunteer Programme Management will take on these responsibilities:

Volunteer Management:

  • Lead the entire volunteer life cycle, including recruitment, screening/interviewing, matching, orientation, deployment, review/feedback, appreciation, training, and exit procedures.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with volunteers, donors and stakeholders in the community, fostering a sense of belonging and commitment.

  • Manage the accuracy and up-to-date volunteer database.

  • Coordinate all programmes and activities related to volunteer services and engagement with beneficiaries in the community.

  • Identify potential sources of volunteers and manage volunteer inquiries and feedback effectively.

Donor Management:

  • Build strong relationship with corporate donors for continuity for ongoing sponsorship where possible.

  • Assist with management of Home’s website, other publicity and outreach events including fundraising.

Programme/Event Management:

  • Plan and execute programmes and events for beneficiaries and stakeholders in the community, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery.

  • Drive engagement with beneficiaries, ensuring their active participation and enjoyment during events while overseeing smooth operations.

  • Administer the Red Feather Boutique i.e. organization, inventory, co-ordination and maintain records of handicraft sale.

  • Perform any additional ad-hoc duties which may be required by Director (Client Services) or Chief Executive Officer.

Job Specifications:
