The Singapore Cheshire Home is looking for an Executive for Volunteer Programme Management, responsible for leading the volunteer life cycle, managing donor relationships, and executing programs for beneficiaries. The ideal candidate will possess a relevant degree and at least 2 years of experience in a voluntary welfare organization. This role requires a meticulous, organized individual with excellent communication skills and a commitment to community service.
Reporting to the Director, Client Services, the Executive for Volunteer Programme Management will take on these responsibilities:
Volunteer Management:
Lead the entire volunteer life cycle, including recruitment, screening/interviewing, matching, orientation, deployment, review/feedback, appreciation, training, and exit procedures.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with volunteers, donors and stakeholders in the community, fostering a sense of belonging and commitment.
Manage the accuracy and up-to-date volunteer database.
Coordinate all programmes and activities related to volunteer services and engagement with beneficiaries in the community.
Identify potential sources of volunteers and manage volunteer inquiries and feedback effectively.
Donor Management:
Build strong relationship with corporate donors for continuity for ongoing sponsorship where possible.
Assist with management of Home’s website, other publicity and outreach events including fundraising.
Programme/Event Management:
Plan and execute programmes and events for beneficiaries and stakeholders in the community, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery.
Drive engagement with beneficiaries, ensuring their active participation and enjoyment during events while overseeing smooth operations.
Administer the Red Feather Boutique i.e. organization, inventory, co-ordination and maintain records of handicraft sale.
Perform any additional ad-hoc duties which may be required by Director (Client Services) or Chief Executive Officer.
Job Specifications:
A degree in a relevant field of study
At least 2 years of relevant experience in a voluntary welfare organization
A team player with excellent communication skills
Meticulous, organized, and willing to go the extra mile
