Job description

Vogue Singapore is looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and organised individual to join the beauty team. The ideal candidate is passionate about all things beauty, and has an aptitude for writing. They should also have keen editorial judgement, a strong grasp of SEO practices, as well as an unique viewpoint to bring to the table.

Responsibilities

• Pitching, writing, and optimising content for the beauty section across print and digital platforms
• Producing content—for both written and visual mediums—that adheres to the Vogue Singapore style guide and tone of voice
• Assisting the Associate Beauty Editor with editorial entitlements, sponsorships, and bespoke client projects
• Assisting the Associate Beauty Editor with photo and video shoots of both editorial and advertorial nature
• Assisting the Vogue Singapore digital team to develop and strengthen content on vogue.sg
• Representing Vogue Singapore at beauty events
• Building relationships with experts, brands, and beauty tastemakers

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year work experience as a beauty journalist or content writer
• Has the ability to work independently and thrive in fast-paced, constantly changing environments
• Detail-oriented and meticulous
• Excellent time management skills
• A good grasp of optimal SEO practices
• A strong understanding of the Vogue Singapore branding and tone of voice
