Job summary

BIRKENSTOCK Singapore is seeking a seasoned Visual Merchandiser to implement global VM campaigns across our stores. You will adapt concepts to the local market, plan seasonal VM moments like Chinese New Year and the Great Singapore Sale, and visit stores to train teams and ensure standards.

You will analyse sales data, manage the local VM budget, and coordinate vendors to deliver compelling store visuals. Strong communication and Adobe Creative Suite skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Visual Merchandising or related field.
• Minimum 5 years VM experience in retail.
• Keen eye for detail and hands-on approach.
• Know the local Singapore retail landscape and customers.
• Able to translate sales data into VM actions.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite; SketchUp/AutoCAD a plus.
• Strong communication and training skills.

YOUR SHOES TO FILL

• Implement global visual merchandising campaigns and guidelines consistently and to a high standard across our stores in Singapore
• Adapt global VM concepts to the local market and customer preferences in close collaboration with the Global Shop Fit Team
• Plan and deliver local and seasonal VM moments, e.g. Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Deepavali and the Great Singapore Sale
• Visit stores regularly to monitor VM standards, provide hands-on support and train store teams
• Analyse the performance of VM set-ups using sales data and store feedback, and derive recommendations
• Manage the local VM budget and coordinate local vendors and production partners
• Support store openings, refits and relocations with layouts and visual set-ups

YOUR WALK OF LIFE

• A degree or diploma in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Visual Communication or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Visual Merchandiser in Retail, ideally within an international brand
• A keen eye for detail, a hands-on mindset and a strong interest in retail and VM trends
• Strong understanding of the local retail landscape and Singaporean consumer behaviour
• Ability to translate sales data into concrete VM actions
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; SketchUp or AutoCAD is a plus
• Strong communication and training skills
