A leading company in the retail sector is looking for a talented Visual Merchandiser to enhance brand engagement through innovative visual strategies across retail boutiques and events. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing effective merchandising strategies and managing creative development to ensure an engaging customer experience.
We are seeking a creative individual with a flair for visual design and storytelling, and a hunger to broaden marketing knowledge while contributing to the bigger picture of brand engagement. This role is key in bringing our brand identity to life across all customer touchpoints in retail boutiques and event roadshows through impactful in-store visuals, creative displays, and supporting marketing campaigns execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Visual Merchandising Strategy & Execution
Define, design, and implement a creative visual merchandising strategy aligned with the brand’s identity.
Optimize in-store image and visibility through strategic categorisation and tasteful product presentation.
Collaborate with internal Marketing and Product teams to conceptualize and execute eye-catching window displays and point-of-sale visuals for Campaigns.
Formulate VM SOPs to ensure consistent, effective execution and optimal utilisation of display materials across all retail points.
Creative Development & Graphic Support
Assist in the planning and implementation of creative marketing collaterals not limiting to promotional materials, store displays, POS signage, web and event visuals.
Develop creative graphic elements that complement Campaign concept visuals and brand storytelling.
Production & Vendor Coordination
Leverage production expertise to identify and liaise with the right suppliers for the creation and installation of custom-made displays (e.g. roadshows, sales counters, event displays).
Manage supplier relationships to source props, signage, and campaign-related materials within given budget.
Retail Support & Communications
Work closely with the retail team to ensure proper housekeeping and rotation of VM materials.
Ensure obsolete or damaged materials are disposed of according to brand guidelines.
Keep retail teams and mall partners informed of upcoming campaigns, collaborations, and visual updates.
Events & Roadshows Management
Oversee the timely planning and execution of roadshows and events from budgeting to layout, setup and teardown ensuring brand consistency across all activations.
Additional Responsibilities
Undertake special projects or assignments as assigned by Head of Marketing, if needed.
Job Requirement:
Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Visual Merchandising or its equivalent
Minimum 3 years’ experience in visual merchandising in Fashion or Jewellery sectors will be an added advantage.
Passion for creative marketing and design with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail
A meticulous team player and self-initiator with the ability to multi-task well and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in design software skills and excellent project management skills.
Resourceful in sourcing for materials and managing suppliers and budgets.
