We are looking for a Visual Merchandiser to develop and implement creative visual merchandising strategies across all Mount Faber Leisure Group’s (MFLG) retail outlets, ticketing counters, and F&B spaces. This role plays a crucial part in enhancing customer experience, ensuring brand consistency, and optimizing sales opportunities through impactful visual displays.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies to enhance customer engagement and drive sales.
- Create engaging and impactful visual displays for all 5 retail outlets, ensuring alignment with brand identity and maximising visual appeal.
- Work closely with Merchandising & Product Development and Marketing teams to develop integrated visual strategies and execute successful promotional events.
- Create compelling visual concepts for window displays, in-store displays, signage, pricing concepts, and overall retail aesthetics.
- Conduct market research on current and emerging trends in design, lifestyle, and customer preferences to ensure alignment with target audiences.
- Work closely with Merchandisers and the Operations Manager to discuss sales strategies and align visual presentation with sales objectives.
- Manage budget control and negotiate with suppliers for materials and props, ensuring cost efficiency.
- Leverage store structural features to maximize product display space and optimize sales opportunities.
- Create visual merchandising plans and layouts using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent.
- Conduct regular store visits to train and guide the Retail Operations team in executing visual merchandising guidelines.
- Oversee the setup and dismantling of visual displays for both window and in-store settings, ensuring timely and effective execution.
- Gather feedback from teams on the effectiveness and impact of visual merchandising and make necessary adjustments.
- Assist the Events and Programming team in decorating key spaces for festive seasons and thematic campaign launches.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management, ensuring the visual integrity of all retail, ticketing, and F&B spaces.
Requirements
- Diploma in Visual Merchandising or a related field.
- At least 2 – 3 years of hands-on experience in visual merchandising, preferably from FMCG or lifestyle retail.
- Strong ability to conceptualize and create designs from scratch, including visual strategies, themes, and displays.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent design software.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in visual storytelling.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel between outlets and work on-site for display setup.
