Our mission is to transform the power of places to connect brands with their consumers.Role SummaryAs part of our Design Team supporting the People Operations function, the Visual Designer - Learning & Development (L&D) role plays a critical role in creating visually engaging and effective training materials that enhance the learning experience for employees. This position focuses on the graphic design and visual communication aspects of training, ensuring materials are not only educational but also visually appealing and aligned with the companys branding. The ideal candidate will bring a creative eye, expertise in design software, and a passion for transforming content into dynamic, learner-friendly formats.Core Role Duties:Visual Design: Design and produce high-quality visual assets for training materials, including presentations, infographics, live action and animated video content, e-learning modules, and print documents. Develop and maintain templates for training programs to ensure consistency and efficiency.Brand Alignment: Ensure all training materials adhere to corporate branding guidelines and maintain a cohesive visual identity. Collaborate with the Design and Marketing teams to align on visual standards and messaging.Content Enhancement: Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and instructional designers to translate content into visually engaging formats. Use visual storytelling techniques to enhance understanding and retention of key learning objectives.Technology Utilization: Leverage tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Coursera, Engage, AI and presentation software to deliver polished designs. Support the creation of multimedia content, including animations or video, to enrich learning experiences. Adapt materials for diverse platforms, including print, digital, and mobile.Collaboration: Partner with L&D team members to brainstorm and prototype innovative design approaches. Working hours overlapping with US time zones. Provide creative input during the design phase of training projects to optimize user experience. Act as the go-to resource for all visual design needs within the L&D team. Support the communication design needs of the People Operations team as needed. Other duties as assigned.Essential Skills: Advanced proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, Coursera AI, Engage AI and presentation platforms like PowerPoint or Keynote. Strong visual storytelling and layout design skills. Ability to simplify complex ideas into visually compelling formats. Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets, Drive); Apple Keynote and Apple Pages; and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must showcase strong time management skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage relationships effectively, including working US time zone hours. Experience in taking initiative, and exercising sound judgment in decision-making. An enthusiasm for learning and development and adult learning theory.Required Interpersonal Skills Expressing ideas and thoughts clearly, both orally and in written form. Exceptional attention to detail with proven ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in complex tasks. Exhibiting good listening, comprehension, and engagement. Good relationship management skills, including the ability to communicate with senior directors and peersboth internally and externallyand establish and maintain excellent rapport. Demonstrating tact and diplomacy in communicating with colleagues internally and external partners. Bringing creativity and passion to your work, embracing change and innovation. Being proactive and a team player, with the ability to engage others.QualificationsRequired 2+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably supporting training, education, or corporate communications.Language SkillsEnglish language fluency is required, including in written and verbal communication.Computer SkillsJob requires specialized computer skills. Command of design systems such as Adobe Creative Suite or similar design-based platforms is essential. Must be adept at using various applications including database, spreadsheet, report writing, project management, graphics, word processing, presentation creation and editing, communicate by email and use scheduling software. Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Apple iWork applications is essential.,
