Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented and dedicated Visual Communication Designer to join our team. The candidate will play a pivotal role in creating compelling designs that enhance our educational tour offerings and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, the ability to work on tight deadlines, and a collaborative mindset to ensure all designs align with our brand language and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design for Educational Tours:
- Develop visually appealing designs for current educational tours, including destination-based collaterals such as brochures, itineraries, and posters.
- Create unique visual identities for each destination while maintaining the company's overall brand consistency.
- Marketing Collaterals:
- Design circulars, teasers, emailers, and other digital or print materials for marketing campaigns.
- Prepare exhibition materials such as banners, backdrops, and handouts that showcase our offerings effectively.
- Client-Focused Collaterals:
- Design customized collaterals for clients based on their specific requirements, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet their expectations.
- Timelines and Feedback Management:
- Adhere to strict deadlines for all design projects while ensuring quality and creativity are not compromised.
- Be open to constructive feedback and work flexibly to make necessary changes to designs.
- Brand Language Adherence:
- Ensure all designs reflect the company's brand language and communicate the desired message effectively.
- Innovate while staying true to brand guidelines to maintain consistency across all materials.
- Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to understand project requirements and deliver impactful designs.
- Coordinate with external vendors when required for printing or other production needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelors degree in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Knowledge of video editing or motion graphics is a plus but not mandatory.
- Design Expertise:
- Strong skills in typography, layout design, and creating destination-specific visuals.
- Ability to design for various platforms, including digital, print, and exhibition setups.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Flexibility and adaptability to take feedback and implement changes efficiently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work within a team environment.
Experience:
2-4 years of experience in visual communication or graphic design. A portfolio showcasing work in branding, marketing collaterals, and destination-specific designs is mandatory.
