Work Schedule: 5-day work week | Sundays & Public Holidays OFF
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: SGD $2,600 – $3,200/month (Depending on qualifications & experience)

About the Role

We are a specialized optometry retail center that also provide vision therapy. We are looking for a caring, observant, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Vision Therapist.

No prior experience in optometry is required. We will provide comprehensive training for the right candidate. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children, helping others, and have a background—or interest—in healthcare, education, occupational therapy, or psychology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct one-on-one vision therapy sessions with patients (mainly children) following structured treatment plans.
  • Assist in vision assessments under the guidance of an optometrist.
  • Record patient progress and provide regular feedback to the clinical team.
  • Communicate with parents/caregivers regarding therapy goals and outcomes.
  • Create a positive, encouraging, and engaging therapy environment.
  • Help prepare therapy tools, maintain records, and manage scheduling as needed.
  • Assist with the operation in a retail setting
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in any field (Healthcare, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Early Childhood, or Education is a bonus—but not required).
  • No prior experience in vision therapy needed—training will be provided.
  • Patient, empathetic, and genuinely enjoys working with children and young adults.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children and parents.
  • Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented.
  • Must be comfortable conducting therapy in English (other language skills such as Chinese are a plus).
