VisionTools Information

Atlas Copco Group acquired VisionTools, based in Waghusel, which develops and sells smart, integrated quality control solutions primarily aimed at the automotive industry. This acquisition strengthens our smart integrated assembly solutions, delivering greater value to our automotive customers. As we expand in the UK market, we will adapt this role into our organizational structure.

Job Description

Your overall objective is to grow the VisionTools business in the UK by increasing awareness, commissioning, maintaining systems, and delivering customer excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Commission, install, and maintain complex systems at customer sites, mainly automotive manufacturers and suppliers, including BMW Oxford and other UK sites.
• Manage service and maintenance requests, diagnose, and resolve technical issues on-site.
• Optimize and fine-tune systems for peak performance.
• Coordinate with customers to install new systems and prepare project documentation.
• Conduct internal and customer training sessions.
• Assist the global team in integrating vision systems into our Smart Integrated Assembly offering.
• Support business development through demonstrations and trials, and collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to increase customer awareness.
• Some international travel may be required.
• Assist our local Machine Vision team as needed.
