Virtual Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Serves as key team members for asset integrity operation and functions.

2. Works with OEM, Vendor, Supplier to resolve issues encountered in asset under managed.

3. Works closely with Client representative and the associate client to ensure optimal uptime and high asset integrity.

4. Responsible for virtual crew service execution and producing report to client on key findings, recommended actions and outcomes.

5. Performs hardware and software deployment onboard the asset, test and maintenance procedure to coordinate and support MRO maintenance and testing activities.

6. Participates and collaborates as team with industry, class society, government agencies in new technology pilot.

Field Service

1. Coordinates digital solution implementation onboard the asset.

2. Tests and commissions digital solutions.

3. Supports troubleshooting at field.

4. Provides basic service, IoT solution configurations.

Virtual Service

1. Monitors and responds to events/alarms of installed based at command centre.

2. Logs activities, daily monitoring of status & backup management.

3. Liaises with 3rd party command centre for incident management.

4. Works directly with operations & field engineers onboard the asset.

5. Reacts and advises on failure mode rectification.

6. Supports Root Cause Analysis and troubleshooting remotely.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering disciplines.

2. Minimum 3 years of practical functional experience in asset integrity, MRO, operation and maintenance.

3. Good ability to execute asset management requirement and client engagement.

4. Strong team player with good teamwork attribute and growth mindset.

5. Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving capability and interpersonal skills.
