Job summary

5G-Starlink Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Scientist in Viral Clearance to design and deliver validation studies across APAC. The role leverages expertise in downstream processing, chromatography, virus filtration and virology to support GLP/GMP operations and client audits.

You will act as study director/QPCR scientist, review proposals, monitor assay performance and lead investigations while maintaining regulatory compliance and scientific integrity across projects.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Biological Sciences or higher in a relevant field.
• Minimum 8 years in a scientific laboratory role.
• 2+ years in a regulated GLP/GMP environment preferred.
• Experience with viral clearance, chromatography and filtration.

Responsibilities

• Act as study director or QPCR scientist for viral clearance validation studies in GLP environments.
• Plan and prioritise workload to optimise resources and timelines.
• Provide hands-on virology support and coach laboratory staff in virology, chromatography and filtration.
• Lead scientific troubleshooting and discuss investigations with clients and internal teams.
• Review proposals, SOPs, workbooks and study documentation for technical accuracy.
• Ensure assays and processes are validated and compliant with current regulations.
• Assist audits, quality systems, CAPA records and safety assessments.
