Job summary

UNMUTE PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a passionate Videographer to produce high-quality social media content across brands. You will handle camera operation, lighting, and on-set support, ensuring the creative direction is realized with technical excellence.

You’ll also lead post-production tasks including editing in Premiere Pro, color grading with S-Log3, and adding music, subtitles, and basic motion graphics. Collaboration with producers and creative teams is essential for compelling campaigns.

Qualifications

• Background or experience in Film, Media, Video Production or related field.
• Proficient in operating Sony mirrorless cameras including S-Log3.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro for editing and colour grading.
• Good understanding of lighting techniques and the ability to operate lighting equipment.
• Experience creating short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Portfolio of videography and editing projects.

About the Role

UNMUTE is looking to expand our creative team with a passionate and skilled Videographer who enjoys creating high-quality social media content and bringing creative ideas to life.

This role focuses primarily on video production and post-production , from operating professional camera and lighting equipment to editing engaging short-form videos for a variety of brands.

You’ll work closely with our creative and production team to produce visually compelling content, while also contributing to pre-production planning through shot listing, storyboarding, and creative discussions.

This role is ideal for someone who is creative, technically skilled, and passionate about visual storytelling , with a keen eye for detail and an interest in social media content creation.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Videography & Production - Main Scope
   • Operate Sony mirrorless cameras to capture high-quality video content
   • Proficient in shooting with S-Log3 and understanding camera settings such as exposure, frame rates, and white balance
   • Capture engaging visuals through effective framing, composition, and camera movements
   • Set up and operate professional lighting equipment for different shooting environments
   • Work closely with producers to execute the intended creative direction
   • Ensure footage meets the technical and visual standards required for each project
2. Video Editing & Post-Production - Main Scope
   • Edit engaging short-form videos for social media platforms using Adobe Premiere Pro
   • Perform colour correction and colour grading, including working with S-Log3 footage
   • Incorporate music, sound effects, subtitles, and basic motion graphics where required
   • Ensure videos are visually engaging, well-paced, and aligned with each brand's identity
   • Refine video edits based on internal and client feedback
   • Organise and manage footage, project files, and other post-production assets
3. Shot Listing & Storyboarding
   • Assist in developing shot lists based on approved scripts and creative concepts
   • Plan camera angles, compositions, and shot sequences for upcoming productions
   • Contribute visual references and ideas during pre-production discussions
   • Assist in preparing storyboards to communicate the intended visual direction
   • Work closely with content producers to ensure planned shots are practical and achievable
4. On-Set Production Support
   • Assist the production team during shoots when required
   • Support with equipment preparation, lighting setups, and other production requirements
   • Assist producers and other videographers in ensuring shoots run smoothly
   • Provide creative and technical input to improve the overall production quality
   • Help maintain and organise production equipment
5. Team Collaboration
   • Work closely with content producers, editors, designers, and marketers
   • Participate in brainstorming sessions and creative discussions
   • Stay updated with social media trends, filming techniques, and editing styles
   • Contribute ideas to improve the visual quality and creativity of our content

Requirements

• Background or experience in Film, Media, Video Production, or a related field
• Proficient in operating Sony mirrorless cameras , including shooting in S-Log3
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing and colour grading
• Good understanding of lighting techniques and the ability to operate lighting equipment
• Strong understanding of camera composition, exposure, and visual storytelling
• Familiar with creating short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
• Creative, organised, and detail-oriented
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment
• Proactive, responsible, and willing to learn
• Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Nice to Have

• Experience with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, or other Adobe Creative Cloud software
• Experience developing shot lists and storyboards
• Knowledge of audio recording equipment and sound design
• Basic photography skills
• Experience producing commercial or branded social media content
• Ability to direct talents and provide clear instructions during shoots
• Portfolio showcasing previous videography and editing projects
