CT Singapore is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our growing team as Video Technicians or Engineers. These role supports both on-site event production and in-house equipment maintenance and logistics.
Whether you're an entry-level technician passionate about starting a career in the live events industry or a seasoned Video engineer with strong hands-on technical experience, this role offers a dynamic and rewarding work environment.
You’ll be part of an energetic team delivering high-profile live events and conferences across the region, working closely with Project Managers and Senior Engineers to ensure high-quality execution. Candidates must be team players with a proactive attitude, willing to work flexible hours and travel as required.
Setup, operate, and dismantle technical equipment for events:
Provide real-time technical support and troubleshooting during live shows.
Work closely with event coordinators, project managers, and clients to deliver technical solutions.
Load/unload and transport technical equipment to/from venues safely and efficiently.
Ensure equipment and systems are functioning optimally before, during, and after events.
Provide on-site technical support and quick troubleshooting where necessary.
Prepare technical equipment according to event requirements.
Conduct quality control (QC), routine maintenance, and functional testing of equipment.
Label and organize equipment for easy identification and fast turnaround.
Document and report faulty or damaged equipment to the management and warehouse team.
Manage inbound and outbound shipments, sub-rented items, and create shipping manifests.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse working environment.
Participate in hands-on training and learn from senior engineers.
Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments.
Contribute to continuous improvements in processes, equipment maintenance, and safety standards.
Basic knowledge of video systems.
Willingness to learn and grow in the live event industry.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office.
Able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to lift equipment and perform hands-on tasks.
Strong technical knowledge of Video systems and live event workflows.
Experience operating:
Proven ability to handle maintenance, QC, and preparation of technical equipment.
Previous experience managing technical equipment setups on-site with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with equipment databases or forklift certification is a plus.
This is a full-time position based in Singapore.
Willingness to work extended hours and travel across APAC
Candidates with a valid forklift license, Class 3/4 driving license, or prior event production experience will have an advantage.
