Job summary

Merries Executive Search is seeking an Assistant Engineer to configure, troubleshoot, test and commission Video Surveillance System back-end equipment across projects in Singapore. You will maintain records, follow procedures, and report progress to the project supervisor.

You should have a Diploma in Electronics or equivalent and at least 1 year of relevant experience, with English proficiency to understand technical procedures and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics or equivalent ITE qualification.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in VSS back-end equipment.
• Knowledge of VSS server and storage configuration, encoders and decoders.
• Good command of English to follow procedures and report progress.

Responsibilities

• Carry out configuration, testing and commissioning of VSS back-end equipment.
• Maintain accurate technical records and complete site activities per schedule.
• Record test results and report progress in prescribed format.
• Update diagrams and drawings; ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Identify faults, follow up on corrective actions and support testing activities.
• Work with project team to meet testing and commissioning schedules.
