Job summary

Back Button Media, a small and fast-growing creative video agency in Singapore, is seeking a hands-on junior video editor to join our team. You will help deliver authentic video content, collaborate with editors, and learn basic motion graphics while exploring AI workflows to enhance workflows.

Ideal candidates are proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud apps, eager to learn, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic studio environment. Diploma holders or internships welcome.

Qualifications

• Familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud apps such as Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects.
• Basic post-production skills including syncing, color grading and audio mixing are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Focused on delivering video content in an authentic yet stylish manner that meets the client's goals
• Research digital trends and contribute to ideation
• Create basic 2D motion graphics and video animations
• Assisting video editors with syncing, filtering and offline edits.
• Learn to choose suitable music and sound effects
• Have the confidence to learn from peers and manage post processes such as audio mix and colour grading.
• Familiarity with AI workflows

Job Requirements

• Singaporean or PR


• Familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud apps such as Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc


• Meticulous, technical, organised and creative


• Have a great eye for aesthetics


• Ability to work in a dynamic working environment


• Good team player with strong interpersonal skills


• Ability to multitask and work independently


• CV with samples of your work


• Graduates from Diploma in Film and Media studies or previously performed post production internships are preferable.


• We would be open to considering individuals who with a positive mindset or a considerable freelance portfolio.
