Job description

We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our creative team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in post-production, with a keen eye for pacing, storytelling, and visual polish.

You’ll work across a diverse range of content—corporate explainers, brand documentaries, campaign films, short-form digital ads, sizzle reels, and social video content. You’ll collaborate closely with content creators, producers, and strategists to bring brand narratives to life in a visually compelling, platform-optimised way.

This is a role for someone who understands both the technical craft and the strategic intent behind every cut.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing & Post-Production

  • Edit high-quality videos using Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve, delivering across various formats and platforms
  • Assemble raw footage into clean, compelling narratives aligned with brand tone and messaging
  • Perform colour grading, sound mixing, transitions, and simple motion graphics where required
  • Export and adapt deliverables for different aspect ratios (16:9, 1:1, 9:16) and technical specifications
  • Transcribe or subtitle videos where necessary
  • Maintain logical sequencing and smooth continuity across scenes and cuts
  • Handle versioning, backup, file organisation, and proper archive of all assets

Creative Collaboration & Strategic Alignment

  • Work with creative and strategy teams to align visual execution with campaign goals
  • Provide input during pre-production phases, including storyboarding and shot planning, to enhance visual storytelling
  • Contribute to discussions on visual language, transitions, and pacing to reflect brand personality
  • Ensure consistency with brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all edits

Workflow & Project Management

  • Manage multiple editing projects concurrently, balancing quick-turn social edits with long-form pieces
  • Ensure timely delivery of all assets, meeting deadlines without compromising quality
  • Stay up to date with platform trends, content formats, and editing styles, especially across digital and social channels

Requirements

  • Experience: min 3 years of professional video editing experience, ideally within a creative, brand, or agency environment
  • Tools: Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve. Familiarity with After Effects or other motion graphics tools is a plus
  • Technical: Strong understanding of video specs for social, web, and broadcast platforms (codecs, frame rates, export settings)
  • Storytelling: Demonstrated ability to craft a compelling narrative through editing, with sensitivity to tone, pacing, and emotion
  • Organisation: Detail-oriented and structured, with strong file management and archiving habits
  • Soft Skills: Reliable, collaborative, and solutions-driven—comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Portfolio: A strong showreel demonstrating polished edits across various video formats (corporate, campaign, branded content, etc.)

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with creative producers or in a fast-paced agency setting
  • Basic animation or motion design capabilities
  • Familiarity with sound libraries, audio editing, or subtitling tools
