Vice President, Strategic Accounts

Singapore

FleishmanHillard has an immediate opportunity for a highly qualified candidate to join our Singapore team as Vice President, Strategic Accounts. In this superb opportunity, you will consult and help drive the integrated communications strategies that will drive commercial success for our clients, across B2C, B2B and B2G audiences. This is an end-to-end leadership and account management role, ranging from driving new business pitches and prospecting, to strategizing integrated campaigns, leading client teams and mentoring and coaching juniors.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive end-to-end management of key strategic clients and accounts as assigned with a focus on relationship building, strategy, delivery QC, oversight and team management, client success, and overall account growth and retention.
  • Lead client relationships and provide senior counsel especially across traditional PR and new media including ecommerce, marketing, and emerging earned platforms and strategies.
  • Lead and motivate a high-performance team in Singapore, providing mentorship, coaching and setting the standards for commercial excellence.
  • Develop and support compelling integrated strategies and oversee output from the team.
  • Serve as a core member of the Singapore leadership team and support our strategy for growing the agency’s revenue, with a focus on integrated public relations and digital strategies. Secure, maintain and build your own book of business, delivering results against the business plan, managing budgets and meeting expected profitability levels.
  • Lead new business pitches, drive our integrated offering and define measurable outcomes that add value to our clients’ businesses.
  • Actively network in Singapore to identify new business prospects, partners and talent for the team.
  • Lead integrated communications initiatives across the Asia Pacific region, working closely with our partners in the Omnicom network.
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends in public relations, digital marketing and brand strategy, sharing your insights with the wider team and playing a key role in planning for skills and experience we will require for the future.
  • Partner with the Managing Director on strategic projects and operational excellence initiatives.

Key Requirements:

  • 10+ years or more experience of driving integrated communications strategies with a robust background in the agency world, preferably in communications or Omnicom agencies
  • Experience handling a portfolio worth upwards of $1million, working with multinational businesses and consumer brands across Southeast Asia.
  • Credentials as a thought leader and enthusiastic practitioner who follows trends and best practices.
  • At least five years’ experience as a people manager, leading a high performing team.
  • Strong presentation skillset, able to represent the FleishmanHillard brand in this high visibility, client-facing role.
  • Well-developed skillset in building and maintaining client relationships
  • A data-driven mindset, with strong experience in working with brands to translate business objectives into programs that deliver commercial outcomes.
  • Deep expertise and experience working with globally and regionally recognised brands across a broad spectrum of sectors.
  • A mindset of curiosity, adaptability and action, critical thinking, problem-solving and consulting abilities.
  • Energy, enthusiasm and passion for what you do.
  • Experience driving regional projects and accounts (multi-market experience particularly across SEA).
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to work as a part of a team in the development of client and new business programs and presentations
