Job Overview: Oversee Hubexo APAC region accounting and financial operations. Undertake senior accounting and financial controller functions across the group using established practices and procedures in compliance with legislation, auditing and policies. Manage finance team across the APAC region within the Group in line with set requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
Developing financial strategy, including risk minimization plans and opportunity forecasting;
High-level financial reporting and analysis;
Preparation and management of budgets and long-range plans;
Working capital management;
Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business;
Stakeholder management – partnering with all business functions and Management;
Oversee tax (company tax return, BAS, FBT, payroll taxes);
Ensuring compliance with statutory law, financial regulations and company policies and procedures;
Oversee payroll;
Well-developed leadership and mentoring skills;
Process improvement / optimization through analysis and departmental interrelationships;
Oversee end of month processes and reporting for Australian, New Zealand and Asian entities
Oversee end of month reports including P/L, PL vs Budget and YTD vs Budget, YTD vs previous year, cash flow and Balance sheet.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting
Work closely with a team of accountants and the Commercial Director in the APAC region
Oversee insurance of the APAC region companies of the Group
Prepare International Dealings Schedule, monitor intercompany transactions
Approve intercompany/international payments as requested
Oversee annual audit. Including preparing end of year reports to audit standards and providing support to the auditor during this process
Support in finance, accounting and adhoc projects as required by the Commercial Director in the APAC region

Complete accounting functions accurately within required timeframe
Undertake all tasks in compliance with legislation, policies and auditing requirements
Minimum Requirements
Proven organizational and administrative capabilities with strong attention to detail, effective report writing skills, and the ability to meet deadlines while managing and prioritizing workload independently
Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
CPA or CA certification is essential
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial controller or equivalent leadership role
Demonstrated experience managing financial operations across the APAC region
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in data interpretation and financial insights
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong computer literacy, including familiarity with internet tools, databases, and general office technology
Hands-on experience with ERP systems and/or accounting software
