Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of experience in a commercial or technical aviation field.
  • Proven experience in managing and negotiating complex, high-value contracts with engine OEMs.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with an ability to engage at all levels.

Job description

Reporting to Head of OEM Strategy & Procurement and/or his designee, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Contract Management
  • Primary liaison with engine OEMs for the ongoing execution and proactive contract management.
  • Ensuring compliance and execution of all contractual obligations related to engine OEMs.
  • Supporting the aircraft delivery process, including assessments to facilitate aircraft title transfer.
Decision-support
  • Monitoring and analysing demand and performance trends.
  • Managing the procurement process, from developing business case to successful contract negotiation.
  • Providing expertise and insights to garner best value for BOC Aviation in support of long-term plans.
Relationship Owner
  • Fostering positive working relationships at all levels with engine OEMs.
  • Representing BOC Aviation at high-impact industry events and working groups to find solutions to challenges.
Agent for Positive Change
  • Leading initiatives aimed at improving internal processes related to procurement and contract management.
  • Regularly gathering market intelligence on products, market trends, contract terms and best practices, to guide internal decision-making.
  • Driving personal development initiatives to enhance team productivity and operational performance.
Requirements
  • Minimum undergraduate degree in Engineering or Aviation-related discipline; postgraduate qualifications in business or law a plus.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a commercial or technical aviation field.
  • Proven experience in managing and negotiating complex, high-value contracts with engine OEMs.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with an ability to engage at all levels.
  • Deep understanding of aircraft and engine economics, and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong track record of leading cross-functional teams, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent oral and written communication ability; self-driven to excel under time pressures.
