Job Responsibilities

The role involves overseeing and managing the Asia-hub system maintenance, which primarily supports regional integration and data warehouse functions, ensuring smooth operations, security, and efficiency of applications. Responsibilities include:

  1. Application Strategy and Governance: Define and oversee strategic management of the Asia-hub system, aligning with organizational goals and supporting operational needs. Lead enhancements based on business requirements.
  2. Access Management Oversight: Establish and govern access policies, ensure role-based access control, permissions, and security protocols to protect sensitive data, collaborating with compliance teams.
  3. Performance Optimization Management: Monitor system performance, utilize analytics to identify inefficiencies, and drive continuous improvements.
  4. Security and Risk Governance: Develop and enforce security frameworks, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with policies.
  5. Escalation Management and Governance: Manage incident response and escalations, ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime.
  6. Updates and Upgrades Oversight: Strategically plan and oversee application updates, patches, and upgrades to minimize disruptions.
  7. Knowledge Management Leadership: Maintain and enhance documentation quality, ensuring regulatory compliance and resource availability.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields
  • 10+ years of experience in IT system management
  • Expertise in software engineering principles; familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) preferred
  • Deep understanding of application security frameworks and governance
  • Strong analytical skills and team leadership capabilities
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Japanese proficiency is preferred for stakeholder interactions in Tokyo
  • Strong organizational drive and commitment
