We are currently seeking a high-caliber professional to join our team as a Vice President, High-Net-Worth Underwriting.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

1. Conduct medical, financial, and compliance assessments in accordance with the company’s underwriting guidelines and risk framework, adhering to delegated authority limits and service level agreements.
2. Manage the referral process to ensure optimal capacity for ultra-large risks, including overseeing the total exposure with reinsurers.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with partners to collaboratively resolve complex underwriting queries related to risk selection.
4. Support the training and development of junior underwriters, including contributing to internal quality assurance audits to maintain consistent underwriting standards.
5. Review and refine medical, financial, and residency guidelines to ensure continued market competitiveness.
6. Provide underwriting expertise and insights for new product development and broader company initiatives review.
7. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline internal workflow and enhance operational efficiency.
