Role Overview

The individual will spearhead the revenue expansion of Zee Music Company by identifying and developing new revenue streams, optimizing existing ones, and leading strategic acquisitions. This leadership role requires a forward-thinking professional who will work cross-functionally to elevate overall business performance. The ideal candidate is a visionary with demonstrated expertise in growth strategy, marketing, and operational execution.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Growth Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive growth strategies aligned with the company’s long-term vision and business objectives. Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, expansion opportunities, and potential risks.
  2. Revenue Optimization: Identify and capitalize on new business models and revenue streams to drive profitability. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop compelling value propositions for key audience segments.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with executive leadership to ensure alignment across all growth initiatives. Foster collaboration between departments including marketing, sales, content acquisition, and distribution.
  4. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of growth strategies. Deliver regular reports with insights and recommendations to the leadership team.
  5. Strategic Partnerships: Identify, evaluate, and establish partnerships with brands, media companies, platforms, and agencies. Develop and implement international growth strategies tailored to local market behaviors and preferences.
  6. Music Label Acquisitions: Identify and assess music label acquisition opportunities aligned with Zee Music Company’s growth objectives. Conduct financial, operational, and strategic due diligence on prospective acquisitions. Lead negotiations and manage deal execution with support from legal and financial advisors. Plan and implement post-acquisition integration strategies to ensure smooth transitions and maximize synergies.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Masters degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Strategy, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in growth strategy, business development, or marketing, with a proven track record of revenue expansion.
  • Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience in financial modelling, valuation, and business case development.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business strategies.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders across all levels.
