We are looking for an experienced Junior Regional Relationship Manager with high energy and client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Senior RRM in the delivery of relevant banking services to Chinese Corporate clients to meet the department's regional revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and understand their needs in order to provide a consistent and high quality of service
  • Collaborate with other members of the department to ensure that profit targets are achieved as a whole
  • Work in partnership with Compliance to consult on compliance issues, including but not limited to Know Your Customer and Sanctions
  • Work in partnership with Credit on any credit issues associated with the deal
  • Work in partnership with Operations and Customer Service to ensure smooth processing of transactions
  • Ensure all deadlines are met and responses are within an acceptable timely manner
  • Prepare tailored presentation pitches to support deal proposals
  • Negotiate with customers on matters including but not limited to contract terms and conditions and pricing, as well as seek commercial solutions to finalise the deal
  • Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations
  • The Junior Regional Relationship Manager will manage the relationship of the Chinese corporate subsidiaries and Chinese clients across Asia (excl Japan). Therefore, the candidate must have a strong written and verbal command of Mandarin to successfully manage and build these relationships.
Requirements
  • Degree qualified
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a relationship manager within the Global Subsidiaries Banking space, regionally.
  • Sales experience onshoring and offshoring China Corporate clients.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with other departments.
  • Strong understanding of local finance laws and regulations across APAC
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate banking products and services
  • Ability to write and speak in Mandarin and English in order to effectively perform the responsibilities of the role.
