    This role is for one of the Weekday's clientsMin Experience: 14 yearsLocation: MumbaiJobType: full-timeWe are seeking an experienced and driven finance, accounting, and legal leader to join a fast-growing, tech-driven team. The ideal candidate is passionate about building and scaling the finance and legal function in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business environment. With a deep understanding of the enterprise SaaS business model, you will take ownership of financial planning, performance analytics, compliance, and investor relations, while playing a strategic role in business decision-making.You will serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and the board of directors, with responsibilities that span financial reporting, ERP implementation, legal governance, and investor readinessincluding laying the groundwork for IPO readiness.RequirementsKey Responsibilities: Drive financial visibility across the business through robust revenue forecasting, pipeline tracking, variance analysis, and budgeting. Calculate and monitor core SaaS metrics such as MRR growth, churn, expansion, LTV, CAC, and more. Support enterprise sales cycles by reviewing and finalizing legal agreements in coordination with external legal counsel. Build financial and economic models to support strategic decisions such as market expansion and business scalability. Design and monitor sales efficiency frameworks including target tracking and compensation planning. Own end-to-end P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and preparation of investor and board presentations. Establish and enforce financial controls, risk management procedures, and standard operating processes across departments. Lead ERP implementations and maintain compliance through every stage of the business cyclefrom client onboarding to employee management.Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Management, Economics, Statistics, or related fields. 14-18 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably in IT consulting, investment banking, or SaaS environments. Proven experience managing accounting teams, audits, legal compliance, and working with investor representatives. Strong technical proficiency in ERP systems, CRM platforms, transfer pricing, statutory/tax audits, US GAAP, and IFRS. Expertise in financial modeling, Excel, and data analytics or visualization tools. In-depth understanding of SaaS KPIs, subscription business models, and investor expectations. High degree of initiative, multi-tasking ability, and a solution-oriented approach in a high-growth, deadline-driven environment. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, especially in investor and client-facing contexts.
